Details

  • On first tab, add basic details of the policy i.e. name, description, renewal date. 
  • Click on save and next.

Types

You can add different types of leaves in the policy, examples are comp off, sick leaves, casual leaves, etc. 

  • Click on 'add new' option on types tab.

  • On Add type pop up add all the attributes of the leave type. 
    • Name: Leave type name.
    • Allowance: Maximum leaves allowed for the certain type of leave.
    • Accrual: Maximum leaves to be accrued on renewal date. 
    • Pro-rata: Pro - rata should be true or false.
    • Carryover: How many leaves from a certain type of leave can be carried over/year.
    • Payment: Leaves taken in certain leave type should be paid or unpaid.
    • Color code: Color code for each type of leave.

Once done with adding all attributes, click on create.

You can add as many types as you want to add, once done with adding all types of leaves, click on next. 

Employees

In this section, you can make the policy default or add users in the policy manually. 

  • Click on add option.

  • Select all or random users.
    • you can also make use of filters to find a specific user or set of users. 
  • Click on add selected.

When needed you can remove employees from the policy. One employee can be enrolled only in one policy. If you enroll an employee to the second policy, she will be auto removed from the first policy.

Click on complete and the policy will be added to the system. If you mark a policy as default, it will be auto applied to every new employee added in the system.
