How to Install: 

You need to be a JIRA Jira Administrator in order to install Automated Release Notes.

  1. First, login as the Administrator to your

    JIRA

    Jira instance and select "Add-ons" from under

    JIRA

    Jira Administration.

    JIRA

    Jira Administration menu is available in the top right corner on click of the 'Cog Wheel' icon.

  2. In the "Find new add-ons" page, search for "Automated Release Notes".

  3. Click on the "Free trial" link on the right side of the corresponding listing

  4. This will result in the Automated Release Notes add-on being installed and activated.

  5. A confirmation dialog will tell you that the installation was successful.

Important

Installation steps remain same for both, Server/Data center as well as Cloud version of the add-on. There might be minor variations in different JIRA Jira versions, but the overall procedure is similar to what is followed in managing other add-ons.
