Once the app is installed & Jira admin had has handed over the UpRaise administration to relevant user. As UpRaise admin make sure following things are done before you provide UpRaise access to all employees in the organization.
By default, UpRaise access is set to 'User based access' to make sure that
Company directory set up
If you are using HRMS sync then all below steps are auto-completed once the sync takes place. If you are not using HRMS sync then follow steps mentioned below.
All users are imported from Jira to UpRaise
Managers are defined for all users
Teams are created with relevant team members, team leads & parent teams
All required designations are added and are assigned to relevant users
Profile attributes
All profile attributes are defined and assigned to users
Profile attributes cannot be synced with HRMS as these are the custom entities withing UpRaise and will not be the same in your HRMS tool
Roles & permissions
Proper roles & permissions are established for all UpRaise modules.
Objectives & key results
All OKR configurations are set from ‘Manage' tab of 'Objectives & key results’.
OKR cycles are created
OKR structure is defined & your employees are well informed & educated about your OKR format & expectations.
OKR creation part differs organization wise. A few companies prefer to let employees create their OKRs and a few prefer to assign this responsibility to their OKR champion/mentor.
Feedback
All feedback related configurations are set from the ‘Manage' tab of 'Feedback’ page.
Forms
In forms, there is nothing to set up for non-admin users as this module is entirely managed by UpRaise admins or users with sufficient users.
Once you have checked all above points you can roll out UpRaise by using relevant UpRaise access options. Read General settings .
