Introduction

Version attributes on Manage tab allow you to define what attributes you want to be available on the create version pop-up. This gives you complete flexibility over what all information is necessary to be added while creating and managing release versions.

Clicking on Version attributes button opens up below pop-up -

Notice that there are two sections -

• Selected attributes - Attributes that you have selected to be configured for version creation/editing

• Available attributes - Attributes that you can select

  • Jira default - These are the default attributes from Jira Releases

  • Global custom attributes - Global custom attributes created within Release Planning and Reports app

  • Local custom attributes - Local/project-level custom attributes created within Release Planning and Reports app

Select relevant attributes and click on Save. You can come back to the screen as and when you want to edit these attributes.
