Enriched Profiles is a tool developed for Jira Service Desk. It enhances the 'Release Management' customer support capabilities of JIRA by streamlining the last step in the process - which is, informing all the stakeholders about contents of different release versions. While JIRA does have a dedicated Release Notes page, it may not be as helpful as is required by some of us.Automated Release Notes goes one step ahead by letting us set up an instruction to automatically send version release notes when a version is released in JIRA. Its customisable template builder that makes use of JQL like queries can retrieve all the vital attributes of an issue including the custom fields. These release notes can be emailed to JIRA, non-JIRA users & JIRA groupsservice desk agents by providing them with more information about ticket reporter & their organisation. This additional information surfaced by the app can be used by service desk agents to engage with customers in contextual & personalised conversations.
Once installed by Jira admin, each service desk project administrator can enable/disable this app on their project.
