Workflows are useful in controlling the flow & status transitions of the distributed templates. They allow you to manage how the distributed template will move forward in the review process. 

Below listed are types of workflows for confidential review type template:

  • Assign to UpRaise admin

  • Assign to reviewer's manager

Refer following steps to understand the workflow:

  • The confidential review template with this workflow will be distributed by

    Employee Success

    UpRaise admin or super admin.

  • The reviewer will receive an email notification about the review form distribution. In the same email, reviewer will be notified the name of team member for whom he/she has to give a review.

  • The reviewer will open the form and respond to the questionnaire,  If needed, he can save it as the draft and share it later. 

  • Once the reviewer is done with his responses, he/she will mark it as complete.

  • Once marked as complete,

    Employee Success

    UpRaise admin/ super admin (whoever has distributed the form) will receive the notification. 

  • If need occurs,

    Employee Success

    UpRaise admin/ super admin (whoever has distributed the form) may reopen the Form. Once reopened, the same flow & status transitions will continue from the beginning.

In this type of form, team member will not have any idea that the review has been conducted for him/her. Typical use cases for this type of form can be for eg. conducting a review for newly joined employee & reviewing his performance to decide his permanent employment. More details are explained in this section.

Different statuses used In this workflow

  • Not started: Once form is distributed and no action is yet taken by the reviewer.

  • In progress: When the reviewer has saved responses as a draft.

  • Complete: When the reviewer is done with his responses and clicks on complete option.

  • Reopened:  When admin or super admin (whoever has distributed form) reopens form for some reason.

  • The confidential review template with this workflow will be distributed

    by Employee Success

    by UpRaise admin or super admin.

  • The reviewer will receive an email notification about the review form distribution. In the same email, reviewer will be notified the name of team member for whom he/she has to give a review.

  • The reviewer will open the form and respond to the questionnaire, If needed, he can save it as the draft and share it later.

  • When reviewer shares the form with his manager, manager will check responses given by reviewer. 

  • If all responses are up to the mark, reviewer's manager will mark it as complete else reopen the form and it will be shared with reviewer again.

  • If reopened, the same flow & status transitions will continue from the beginning.

  • Not started: Once the form is distributed and no action is taken by a reviewer.

  • Pending approval: When reviewer has responded and shared form with his/her manager.

  • Reopened: When the manager receives form responded by reviewer and Manager reopens that form for some reason.

  • Completed: When the reviewer's manager is done with reviewing form and clicks on complete option.
