What is confidential review base template

Confidential review base template is used when someone needs to be reviewed without their knowledge. Typical use cases include probation assessment, peer assessment, performance review where only manager adds responses for the team member. There are two types of workflows for confidential confidential review base template -

  1. Assign to Employee Success admin

  2. Assign to reviewer's manager

Lifecycle of confidential review base templates

Let us see the lifecycle of confidential review form according to the first workflow.

1. Assign to Employee Success adminSuccess admin

In this workflow, once a reviewer (respondent) is done with the responses, the form will be assigned to the Employee Success admin/Super admin whoever had distributed the form.

Form statuses involved according this workflow

  • Not Started: Once the form is distributed and no action is yet taken by the reviewer.

  • In Progress: When the reviewer has saved responses as a draft.

  • Complete: When the reviewer is done with his responses and clicks on complete option.

  • Reopened:  When admin or super admin reopens form.

2. Assign to reviewer's manager

In this workflow, once the reviewer adds responses the form will be assigned to reviewers manager for approval.

  • Not Started: Once the form is distributed and no action is taken by the reviewer.

  • In Progress: When the reviewer has saved responses as a draft.

  • Pending Approval: When reviewer has responded and shared form with his/her manager.

  • Reopened: When the manager receives form responded by reviewer and manager reopens that form for some reason.

  • Completed: When the reviewer's manager is done with reviewing form and clicks on complete option.
