How to use project calendar

Note that, to use the project calendar, you should first set your Project team. If your project team is not created, you would not see any events on the calendar.

Once you create a team and add events on the calendar, it automatically highlights relevant dates on the calendar. You can simply select the event type from the top right corner of the project calendar and then see if there are any such events in the month.

Example - You are in the month of July, you just want to check what all the events you have in this month. Select the type of event from the top right corner of the calendar.

The system shows relevant dates with team member's first name initial, mouse over on that to see the full username. The same list of events is also shown on the right side of the section.

In this way, you can select any event type and see relevant events in each month by scrolling the calendar.

Along with date attributes, the system also allows you to add leaves as an event, you can check who are all on leave in the week or month. Of Course, the same can be seen in a better way in Project leaves, still, it can be added as an event in the project calendar as well. When you select leaves option as an event, the system shows on which dates you have team members unavailable at work in the selected month. If you mouse over on those dates you can see the full username and the leave type (full day or half day) of the team member. Also, the list of all leaves would be available on the right side of the section.
