Give Feedback

Click on Feedback section from left navigation >> Click on Give feedback

On the Give feedback, notice below fields -

  • About - Select the user name to whom the feedback is being given

  • On -

    • Independent work - When the feedback is about anything related to work use this option

    • Jira issue - Use this option when feedback is for any Jira issue

    • Objective - Use this option when feedback is for any Objective

    • Key result - Use this option when feedback is for any Key result

  • Tag - Use the tag based on the kind of feedback being provided

  • Labels - Use labels from the given fields or create new ones if permission is given

  • Message - Write the feedback message. This is the actual feedback to be conveyed on the selected option from On field.

  • Use format - If there are formats created by admins, select the relevant one from the dropdown. The selected format will show up in message field.

  • Shared with - This option is to define feedback visibility. The below options are available for visibility

    • All users - Select to share feedback will all.

    • Selected teams or users - Select teams or users to share feedback with them

    • None - If this option is selected, the feedback is saved as a note and not visible to anyone else

Click on Save. This sends an email notification to user from About field. If there is Slack integration in place with UpRaise, relevant slack messages will be sent.

Request Feedback

Click on Feedback section from left navigation >> Click on Request feedback

On the Request feedback, notice the below fields -

  • About - Select the user name to whom the feedback is being given

  • From - Select the user name from whom the feedback is to be asked

  • On

    • Independent work - When the feedback is about anything related to work use this option

    • Jira issue - Use this option when feedback is for any Jira issue

    • Objective - Use this option when feedback is for any Objective

    • Key result - Use this option when feedback is for any Key result

  • Message - Write the feedback message. This is the actual feedback to be conveyed on the selected option from On field.

  • Use format - If there are formats created by admins, select the relevant one from the dropdown. The selected format will show up in message field.

Shared with option (Visibility setting) is not available on request feedback pop-up as the request is by default visible to only user selected in From option. When that user responds to the feedback it is visible while responding on Give feedback pop-up.

Respond to feedback request

When feedback is requested to someone, they need to click on Respond from the Feedback tab. Clicking on Respond opens Give feedback pop up where user can share feedback as explained above.

Other actions

Edit feedback

Users except super admin/admin, can edit the feedback only if sufficient permissions are being given to them. As feedback creator they can edit the feedback message or any other fields on the Edit Feedback pop-up.

Few users can also have an option to just change the feedback visibility.

Delete feedback

Users with relevant permissions can delete the feedback. Clicking on (error) mark allows to delete the feedback.
