2022 - Cloud UpRaise for Employee Success (OKRs)
- Annu
20th December 2022
Enhancements
Whenever a Jira issue is linked as a key result or as a KR action, it is possible to view its description on the browse OKRs screen in the ‘description’ column. This is the same column where descriptions of respective objectives & key results are displayed from UpRaise.
It is now possible to associate custom user picker fields (single & multi-select) with user profiles within UpRaise company directory. e.g. Mentor/Mentee pair can be added with the introduction of a single select custom profile attribute.
The ability to archive objective cycles is now live. With this action, you can easily ‘stove away’ older OKRs if they do not need to be referred to anymore. This is quite similar to how you would ‘archive’ a project in Jira.

Enhancements
Forms now save the responses every few seconds if the system detects any changes. This improves the experience since there were a few instances when users lost their responses due to timeouts.
App now allows you to set up reminder frequency while creating the KR.
Shared OKR views can now be managed by users that have the ‘Manage OKRs’ permission. This allows for decluttering of views in case they balloon up to a large number over a period of time.
Now it is possible to exchange Team member & Reviewer while creating/editing a distribution.
Progress charts on Objective & KR details pages are now configurable. Some customers found the progress charts a little too confusing, so we have made them configurable. By default, these charts will be visible though.
New ‘Alignment’ filter introduced to surface objectives that are of interest such as objectives with no alignments or objectives that only receive contributions from other objectives & so on.
It is now possible to refresh progress percentage directly from the Objective & KR detail pages.
The refresh button/icon appears in the below cases -
If objectives progress is dependent on alignments
If the objective has KRs with automatic progress calculations
The refresh icon/button is not displayed in the below case -
If the Objective has no alignments or its progress calculation is manual (direct punch in on objective or all KR with manual progress)
Earlier, we had introduced an Auto saving function for the forms. As and enhancement, we have added a message on the forms after autosaving.
Message - The form will get saved as a draft automatically when you make any changes.
Above message will make it clear that the changes are saved.

Users from group/s that are ‘granted UpRaise access’ are automatically synced to the Company directory. Before, this was limited to Jira group/s that are synced to teams in the Company directory

Enhancements
Any changes to a team in the UpRaise company directory are now stored in the database. This will make it easy to keep track of updates similar to the user profile attributes.
We are now storing the KR progress in the database instead of calculating it on the fly. This makes it easier for you to filter the OKRs based on progress percentage. Earlier, it was only the Objectives that were returned based on progress percentage filter.
We are making progress automation a central concept in the OKRs module. Thus, we have brought the progress calculation configurations to the fore on the create/edit key result pop-up itself. We plan to bring in some more automation-related options in the next few weeks.
Estonian language translations correction done
To allow reordering when there are more than 5 key results, we are now displaying a Show All toggle on the objective details page.
Team type value, if not empty, is now being displayed at all places wherever team name is displayed. This makes it easier for end users to see what type of ‘team’ they are dealing with.
