Access & permissions

Chirp app presents a different view of the Confluence content. Eventually, the groups, the categories & the Chirp posts - all are Confluence entities.

Chirp app impersonates the logged in user to ensure that it honours access & permissions from native Confluence. Meaning, if a user does not have access to a certain Space in Confluence - content from that Space won’t be visible to them from within the Chirp app as well.

Same goes for Creating posts through the Chirp app. If you don’t have the permission to create a page/blog post in a given Confluence Space, you won’t be able to write a post for the Space from within the Chirp app.
