Profile sections & attributes
Apart from Basic company directory attributes , UpRaise comes with an ability to create customized profile sections & attributes. These profile sections & attributes can be created by UpRaise admins and super admins.
Profile section
Profile sections are the containers for profile attributes. For example - Job details is a section, then Last employer, Experience, Job description, Skills, etc. are the attribute. At the time of installation, you will see a few default sections added to the system. You can edit them, delete and create new ones.
Create profile section
Navigate to ‘Company directory’ >> 'Profile attributes' tab.
Click on 'Add section'.
Write ‘Name' & 'Description’of the section and click on 'Create’
Move/Delete/Edit profile section
Navigate to ‘Profile attributes’ tab of ‘Company directory’
Click on & take relevant action from the given actions list.
If you are trying to delete profile section then you first need to delete all profile attributes within that section.

Once the section is created, one can add profile attributes in these sections.
Click on 'Add attribute'
Add following details -
Name - Attribute name. Eg. Job description, Job Title, Skills, etc.
Active/inactive toggle - With this toggle, you can make the profile attribute active/inactive.
If it is inactive, it will be hidden and cannot be used within the system anywhere.
Description - A short description of the attribute
Type - Select the appropriate type based on what type of field you are creating
Visible to - This helps you define who should view the attribute on user profile page.
Editable to - Theis helps you to define who should be able to edit filed details.
Click on 'Create'.
Edit/Delete/Move Profile attributes
Navigate to ‘Profile attributes’ tab of ‘Company directory’
Click on the relevant profile section to expand it
Click on infront of relevant profile attribute and execute the required action.
Check User profile/My profile & team profiles | User profile to know how these sections and attributes look like on user profile.
