Slack integration
Integrating Slack with UpRaise makes it easy to get quick notifications. Once Slack is configured, UpRaise user level connection with Slack is established automatically if your users are using same email id on both Slack and Jira.
Connect Slack
To configure UpRaise & Slack -
Navigate to Settings >> Integrations.
Click on 'Add to Slack'.
You will be directed to Slack authentication page, click on ‘Allow’ & that’s it!
Disconnect Slack
When UpRaise and Slack are connected -
Navigate to Settings >> Integrations.
Click on 'Disconnect'.
Managing user level Slack integration
Once the Slack is connected, an additional column appears in ‘Company directory' >> ‘Users’ tab. Active or greyed out Slack icon would indicate User level Slack connection as active or disabled respectively. Users should be connected with same email id on Jira as well as Slack, otherwise, users are left disconnected with Slack.
Clicking on the icon against each user, you will be able to check which email address is used for matching Upraise/Jira account to Slack account.
Also on the you can connect or disconnect users by clicking on ‘Slack’ icon and then ‘Connect/Disconnect’.
