Feedback On Options

When you Give/Request a feedback, it can be a feedback for independent work and it can also be associated with Jira issue, UpRaise objective & Key result. Let us see all of these options one by one.

  • Independent work

  • Jira issue

  • Objective

  • Key result

From all of the above options, Independent work option is default option to give/request feedback on. All other options (Jira issue, Objective, Key result) are configurable. These options will be available on give/request pop-up only if they are linked. Independent work

This is a default option to give/request feedback on. This option can be used when you want to provide feedback on anything. For example, you took a help from your co-worker. Just go and give feedback to thank the person and let everyone know how that person has helped you. You can also request a feedback on independent work. Complete other information on the give/request feedback pop-up and Save.

Jira issue

When you want to associate your feedback with Jira issue, choose this option from the dropdown, search/select a Jira issue. As soon as the issue is selected, Jira issue assignee is auto selected for About field(You can override this selection). Complete other information on the give/request feedback pop-up and Save.

If Jira project is disabled to be associated with UpRaise feedback then issues from the respective project are not displayed in search results and cannot be associated with feedback.

If the UpRaise panel is enabled, any given or requested feedback on Jira issue is visible on the respective issue details page

Objective

When you want to associate your feedback with Objective, choose this option from the dropdown of On field, search/select objective. As soon as the objective is selected, objective owner is auto selected for About field (You can override this selection). Complete other information on the give/request feedback pop-up and Save.

Associated feedback is visible in feedback tab of respective objective detail page.

Key result

To associate feedback with key result, select this option in On field. Search/select relevant KR. KR owner is auto selected for About field when you select KR. Complete other information on the give/request feedback pop-up and Save.
