When to use self & manager (previously, performance) review template?


As the description suggests, use this template type when the requirement is to have a single review form where team member, her direct manager & the responsible HR person can collaborate. This is particularly useful where performance review process involves team member doing self-assessment & her manager responding to that self-assessment. If needed, reviewer can share his own remarks with HR person without revealing them to the team member. Remarks by the HR person can also be added at the end of the process.

Do keep in mind that it is not necessary to add review remarks & HR remarks sections. Template would still work without them.
