Once the UpRaise app is installed, all Jira admins will see Get started option in the top Jira menu. Get started option is to complete the initial setup of UpRaise & it can be completed by any Jira admin, regardless of who has installed it on the Jira instance.

Sometimes, one Jira admin installs the app and another may complete the setup, in such case, if the other Jira admins want to make themselves an admin or super admin of UpRaise , they can make use of the option called UpRaise admins available on the Marketplace.

• Click on Marketplace Apps within Jira administration ( icon at the top right corner in Jira).

• In left navigation, click on Configurations under UpRaise section. 

• Here, logged in user (Jira admin) can click on one of the Add options depending on the relevant role (admin/super admin).

• Jira admins can search their own name or any other user’s name based on whom they want to provide admin/super admin access.

• Click on Add.

Once navigated to this page, the list of current admins and super admins is displayed. Once logged in Jira admin add themself as admin or super admin of UpRaise, they would get the access to UpRaise as per selected role. This option even can be used to get access to UpRaise as a user. As Jira admin, even if one is not supposed to be an UpRaise admin/super admin, they can provide these roles to other relevant users.

Lost UpRaise access by denying access to Jira group that contains UpRaise admins?

• Remove relevant user/s (who is/are supposed to have UpRaise admin access) from the Jira group that has been denied access to UpRaise.

• Add these relevant users as UpRaise admin/super admin from UpRaise screen meant for Jira admins.

• Now this user will be able to access UpRaise settings & can make any changes desired being admin/super admin.
