While noOfDays returns the total leave days for the entire leave duration (excluding weekends and holidays), applicableNoOfDays returns only the leave days that fall within the requested fromDate and toDate range. How it works: When fromDate and toDate are provided, applicableNoOfDays counts only the overlapping leave days within that range. When no date range is provided, applicableNoOfDays equals noOfDays. Supports both full-day and half-day leave calculations. Weekends and holidays are automatically excluded, consistent with existing noOfDays logic. Example: A leave from Aug 10–20 with noOfDays: 8. If you query with fromDate: Aug 12 and toDate: Aug 15, the response returns noOfDays: 8 and applicableNoOfDays: 4. Note: This change is API-only and does not affect the leave listing UI, leave details, or Excel exports. Currently available on Cloud only.
