Technical Enhancements

In this release, we’ve moved all key Employee Garrison experiences to Atlassian’s Forge platform. The changes below are behind‑the‑scenes that improve security, reliability, and long‑term support, while keeping your existing workflows and UI effectively the same.

  • Jira dashboard gadgets now on Forge
    All Employee Garrison gadgets have been migrated to Forge, including:

    • List of Calendar Events

    • UpRaise Calendar

    • UpRaise To‑Do

    • Leaves – Need My Approval

    • UpRaise Charts

    • OKR Progress Chart

    • Two‑Dimensional Stats

    • OKR Confidence Score

    • OKR Summary View

    • OKR Stats Gadget

    • OKR Progress & Confidence

    These gadgets now run on Forge for a more stable and future‑proof dashboard experience.

  • Core app pages and modules migrated to Forge
    The following areas are now powered by Forge with updated configurations and full regression testing:

    • Dashboard module

    • Calendar module

    • Leave module

    • Reports page

    • Settings page

    • Company Directory

    • User Profile page

    • Team Profile page

    • Onboarding / Get Started page

    Functionality and navigation remain familiar; the upgrade is mainly in the underlying platform.

  • Better handling of Jira context (under the hood)
    We’ve replaced our reliance on HTML meta tags in the Forge app with a more robust local‑state approach, combining Forge context with data from the backend where needed (such as user, locale, project, issue, dashboard and app configuration).
    This makes EG behaviour more consistent across Jira screens and gives us a stronger foundation for future features and performance improvements.
