Editing/deleting objectives

Objectives at any level can be viewed & edited or deleted from different places in the app. Such as any custom or default views on the browse tab of OKRs page. You can also edit/delete an objective from objective detail page. You can edit/delete objectives only those are visible to you.

Here in the documentation, we have taken an example of the company objectives. You can edit/delete any level of objectives from relevant views or detail page by following the same steps. 

Editing an objective

Clicking on edit option gets you to the edit objective pop-up, edit necessary attributes and click on save. Below screenshots will show the different pages from where you can edit objectives. 

System-defined or any custom view

Depending on the selected view, you would see the list of the objectives as shown in the below image(here the company objectives filter/view is selected)

Deleting an objective

As shown in the images below, click on delete option and confirm the action. Once deleted, the data cannot be retrieved. 


Note that deleting an objective also deletes all associated key results as well as any alignments this objective was involved in.
