Background

We got quite few customer requests saying publishing the Confluence template for Automated Release Notes isn’t support the formatting of V2 Confluence editor and it was creating a lot of hassle for users of the Automated Release Notes app when release notes are published on Confluence pages. So we have now come up with a new way of publishing release notes that supports the new Confluence editor/v2 editor!

Below is the checklist for the complete process of using the new approach of publishing release notes to new Confluence editor.

👨‍💻 Set up

• Integrate Confluence and ARN (Basic/initial setup to integrate your Confluence with ARN)

• Install ARN help app on Confluence

• Complete Helper app’s integration with ARN

📝 Template creation (within your confluence space settings)

• Create a Confluence template/page

  • Recommended is to create Confluence page for better output of formatting and attachments
