Every Jira user can have access to Employee Garrison, however, initially, that has to be provided by Employee Garrison admin/super admin. At the moment, each user can have following attributes - Name & Profile Pic(populated from JIRA profile), user role, designation, manager, teams. New user can be created only by Employee Garrison admins/super admins. Let us see how admins can provide Employee Garrison access to Jira users.
If you want to create/add new a user in Employee Garrison, that user needs to have an access to your Jira.
Click on company directory option from left/top navigation.
Click on add user option.
In name field, search for the user with his/her Jira username.
Select Employee Garrison role (no access, user, admin, super admin)
Name & role are the mandatory fields at initial step, if you want, you can edit rest of the fields or leave them blank and click on create option.
Once the new user is added, user will receive an email notification along with a link to Employee Garrison.
Once a new user is added, you can update user attributes later anytime from company directory.
