All these actions are available on More option of objective details page. Refer image below.

Clone

Objective can be cloned from one objective cycle to another or from one level to another. It is just that you should have sufficient permission to do so.

  • Navigate to the objective detail page that you want to clone.

  • Click on More option at the top and select Clone.

  • On Clone objective pop-up, you can make following changes -  

    • Select the Level you want to your objective to be cloned to.

    • Select objective cycle.

    • Write down a new title of cloned objective.

    • Select owner of objective that will be newly created.

    • Select start & due date.

    • Check or uncheck option to clone key results & comments.

    • Click on Clone.

Important points to note

  • Option for cloning an objective will be available only on objective detail page.

  • Clone option is available on if you have been given the permission.

  • UpRaise allows cloning of objectives from & to all levels.

  • You can clone objective to any objective cycles those are predefined and available in drop-down list on clone objective pop-up

  • If the cloned objective falls under a future objective cycle, then the status of the objective will be set to Scheduled

  • If objective is cloned from past objective cycle to current then the objective will be in Ready status.

  • If objective is cloned to past objective cycle, the status of cloned objective will be Ready for grading/Ready to close.

  • In the history tab, the earliest item will be Cloned from X objective.

  • Once objective is cloned, users with relevant editing access can edit shared with or responsible / owner users as well as other objective attributes. 

  • Clone comments and clone KRs check boxes will be available on clone objective pop-up only if any KRs and comments are available in the respective objective.

Move

One can move an objective from one objective cycle to another. Move action is available for all levels of objective.

  • Open an objective detail page that you want to Move.

  • Click on More option at the top and click on Move

  • On move objective pop up -

    • Select the new Objective cycle and Due date.

    • Click on Move.

Important points to note

  • Option for moving an objective will be available only on objective detail page.

  • Option to move objective is only available if you have been given a permission to move objectives at certain level.

  • You can move objective to any objective cycle that is predefined and available in drop-down list on move objective pop-up.

  • In the history tab, the latest item will be moved objective from objective cycle X to Y.

  • Relevant users (users of shared with list & owner/responsible users) will be notified that objective has been moved to another cycle.

Abandon

One can abandon an objective if the objective is no longer valid for any given reason. Abandon action is available for all levels of objective.

  • Open an objective detail page that you want to Abandon.

  • Click on More.

  • Click on Abandon.

  • Write down the reason why you want to abandon the objective and click on Confirm.

Convert

UpRaise objectives can be converted to any other level from any existing one.

  • Open an objective detail page that you want to Convert to another level.

  • Click on More option.

  • Click on Convert.

  • On convert objective pop-up - 

    • Select the relevant level you want to convert your objective to.

    • Make necessary changes to all other attributes on the objective. 

    • Click on Convert.

Important points to note

  • You should have sufficient permissions to convert objectives

  • You cannot convert an objective to a lower level if it is receiving contribution from higher level objectives.

    • Example - Objective A is at Team level and it receives contribution from another objective B. In such a case you cannot convert objective A to individual level as it receives contribution from team objective that is higher than individual level.
