Objective levels


By default, UpRaise has three levels of objectives, i.e. Company, Team & Individual. However it is possible that you want to call them differently of add some more levels. UpRaise supports both of the use cases.

Objective level display names

  • Navigate to OKR >> Manage >> Objective levels

  • Add relevant display names

  • Click on 'Save'

Enable multiple levels based on team type

This option lets you add more levels of objectives apart from the ones that are there by default. These levels are based on your team types. Note these levels work at team levels as they are associated with team types.

For e. g. if you have defined team types like department, sub-department, squads, etc. So if you check the above option, it will create separate objective levels for each team type. Read https://amoeboids.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/UD/pages/2467856424/Manage+teams#Manage-team-types

  • Navigate to OKR >> Manage >> Objective levels

  • Check on Enable multiple levels based on team type

  • Click on Save

Enable or Disable default objective levels

As shown in the below image, check/uncheck levels to disable/enable default objective levels. By default all of them are enabled.

Impact of objective level customization 

When you customize these levels as per your requirements, this customization impacts in different areas within app. Here is a quick list - 

  • Browse OKRs default filter dropdowns (dropdown at the top of the browse OKRs page and the one in filter popup) 

  • Create objective pop-up

  • Contribute to and receive contribution pop-up while creating objective alignments

  • OKR progress charts

  • Objective Cycle Status & Compliance Report

  • Employee Success gadgets on dashboards

  • Email notification (Notification will contain information with customized level names)

Objective levels in entire documentation are referred with there default names for uniformity & better understanding.
