This is the very first release of Employee Garrison app for Jira. In this release, our app was launched on Atlassian Marketplace along with the features listed below.

  • Company Directory

    • User, Team management

    • Easy management of app access to Jira users

    • Org chart

    • Options to publish or company directory and org charts to all app users.

  • Leaves Management

    • Different leave policies, holiday policies, and workweek policies can be added for different locations. You can then enroll relevant employees in each of these policies 

    • Leave summary for individual users

    • Employees can apply for leaves 

    • Managers can cancel or approve leaves

    • Leave adjustments can be done by admins

  • Employee Records

    • Create organized sections within employee profile

    • Add multiple types of profile attributes in the sections

    • Set view & edit restrictions to match your processes

Bugs

Employee Garrison app was released in last week. After its very first release, we encountered a few bugs. In this release, we have fixed those bugs. Here is a list of few important enhancements from this release. 

  • Improvements in user profile UI changes for Company directory/Leave/User Profile screen.

  • UI changes for Company directory/Leave/User Profile screen.

  • Remove email id column from the users table.

  • Logged in Admin/Super admin user was not getting listed in approvers drop down in leave details popup.

  • Now 'leave policy renews on' day displays properly.

  • Leave listing pagination issues fixed. 

  • Issues related to leave request pop-up are fixed.

  • Now a user can update the Organization name on team hierarchy view page.

  • Default data was getting inserted again on installation if the name of the default data changed after installation, this issue is now fixed.

  • A few other UI-related issues are fixed in this release. 

New features

  • All email notifications for user profile/company directory & leaves are configured now. 

  • Status of future-dated applied leaves to canceled when any associated leave type is marked as disabled is now applicable.

Bugs

  • A few bugs were fixed. 

New features

  • Ability to view accruals & adjustments.

  • Enabled accrual frequencies corresponding pro-rata basis calculation.

    • Now you can set the leave accrual frequency on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis. 

    • This accrual will be calculated depending on pro-rata settings.

  • Leaves accrual at the time of policy renewal. 

  • Removed allowance field from add leaves type pop-up. Now leave balance will be updated considering maximum leaves to be carried over per year.

  • Weekly Schedule Job to update user's time zone in the users table.
