Release date - Sep 12, 2018

This is the first public release of Employee Garrison app for Jira server. In this release, our app was launched on Atlassian Marketplace along with the features listed below.

Company Directory

  • User & team management

  • Custom user profile attributes.

  • Easy management of app access to Jira users.

  • Org chart.

  • Options to publish company directory and org charts to all app users.

Employee Records

  • Create organized sections within employee profile.

  • Add multiple types of profile attributes in the sections.

  • Set view & edit restrictions to match your processes.

Release date - Sep 14, 2018

This is the second release of the app and we have added three new modules & a Jira project profile feature. Details as below : 

Leaves Management

  • Different leave policies, holiday policies, and workweek policies can be added for different locations. You can then enroll relevant employees in each of these policies 

  • Leave request option for individuals. These leaves can also be shared with team/s or user/s.

  • Managers can cancel or approve leave requests.

  • Dedicated summary page to check to leave balances, holidays and workweeks.

  • Dedicated employee leaves balance page for admins and super admins.

  • Ability to adjust employee leaves for admins & super admins.

Calendar

  • A dedicated customizable calendar is now available to track leaves your team members. 

  • One can also add events like employee birthdays, work anniversaries, etc. 

Reports

  • Ability to create custom reports based on chosen profile attributes.

  • One can create custom reports using user profile attributes. 

Project profile

  • Jira project profile feature to create a dedicated project level page for the project administrator.

    • This includes the list of team members working on the projects.

    • Tracking of leave calendar for users working on the project.

    • Tracking upcoming leaves of users to make sure work is on track before user avails leaves.

Enhancements

  • Ability to sync Garrison team to Jira issue custom fields. 

Bugs

  • MySQL-related issues fixed.

  • Team/s were not getting updated in Oracle DB if the description is not added, now it is fixed.

  • A few minor bug fixes.

  • Added a user search filter on manage employee page in schemes & leave policy. 

  • Added an option to disable or enable Employee Garrison features.

Bugs

  • Dates were displayed incorrectly at some places due to a timezone issue, which is now fixed.

  • Org chart was displaying incorrect numbers & inconsistently, which is also fixed with this release.
