When to use self and manager review template?

Self and manager review template is typically used for quarterly, semi-annual, or annual reviews where team members are being reviewed by managers. Apart from this, it also serves some other use cases like one-on-one discussions and confidential reviews. For these use cases, self and manager review template has different workflows. This document talks about how to use and manage distributions of self and manager review. |

Navigate to Forms >> Templates >> Create new template >> Self and manager review Seleect the relevant default workflow and click on Next. This lands on the self and manager review template builder. Using Add a field and Fields settings tab, add any type of question available in the form builder. Read Manage Templates | Create. Form creation process is the same for every template, the difference is only for form users. For example, in this form user types are team member reviewer and HR user. Same or different questionnaire can be added for all them, unlike 360 review templates where same questionnaire is available for all types of reviwers/ . Also, read Types of questions that can added in templates form builder. |

As explained in Manage distributions. The process of distribution is the same for all types of templates. However in case of self and manager review, there are two differences -
Cosindering multiple types of reviewer types in self and manager review, UpRaise allows to import an Excel file that contains the list of reviewers. Once can easylity prepare the file and export directly instead of manually setting up users to distribute forms. Read Bulk importing users to a distribution via Excel upload. Once the entire set up is done, one can save, schedule, or distribute the form. read Manage distributions | Distribute, Save as draft or Schedule distribution. |

After distribution, admin/HR (whoever distributes the form) would want to keep an eye on the form statuses. They may want to generate some reports by exporting forms or creating user-wise reports, all of this is possible on the view responses page. Forms
ReportsThis tab has 2 reports for self and manager reviews. Clicking on the report generates a report for the current distribution. This is a handy way to generate a report instead of navigating to Reports section in the app. Read Reports - Admin guide. DetailsThis section is quite self-explanatory. This tab contains all the distribution details added while creating a distribution. A handy way to check the distribution setup. |
