UpRaise apps ("UpRaise for Employee Success", "UpRaise People", "UpRaise for Employee Garrison", “Service”) is a suite of Jira apps (previously addon, plugin, extension) developed and maintained by Amoeboids Technologies Pvt Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains the collection and use of information and data limited to service's Slack integration. Henceforth in this agreement, UpRaise, UpRaise for Employee Success, UpRaise People, UpRaise for Employee Garrison, Service & Amoeboids Technologies Pvt Ltd refer to the same business entity.

UpRaise respects your right to privacy. All information collected from your Slack account by UpRaise is used to improve the experience and quality of the Service.

Similar to the two variations of Jira - on premise, data centre & on demand, UpRaise has variations of its own. But Slack integration is only available on the on demand/cloud version.

Privacy Policy for on demand version

User Information

When you connect Slack & UpRaise on your on demand Jira - we receive information about your workspace such as teams & users, as well as email addresses of users on your Slack account. This information is used to send relevant messages to users. 

This information is used solely for identification inside the Service.

Data Storage

Amoeboids Technologies Pvt Ltd uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run UpRaise. Although Amoeboids Technologies Pvt Ltd owns the code, databases, and all rights to the UpRaise application, you retain all rights to your data.

UpRaise database stores your Slack connection (instance & user level) configurations in order to make the entire experience seamless. None of this data is encrypted at this point in time. Having said that, its important to know that none of the stored data (related to Slack integration) is Personally Identifiable Information. 

Security

UpRaise is hosted at Amazon Web Services (AWS), a world-class hosting provider. 

All of your data is transmitted over HTTPS; however, as of now we don't encrypt any of the information when storing. Amoeboids Technologies Pvt Ltd has a strict policy in place to limit the production database access. It is possible to access production database only when requested by a customer/prospect who is evaluating. 

Just to reiterate, none of the stored data (related to Slack integration) is Personally Identifiable Information. 

Disclosure

UpRaise may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas when a user’s actions may violate the Terms of Service.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Amoeboids Technologies Pvt Ltd reserves the right to update this policy at any time without prior notice.
