Setting up the Widget

As a Confluence space administrator, navigate to the ‘Space settings’ page from the left hand navigation. This is how it will look like.

Under the Integrations section, a new tab would appear 'Embedder for Confluence'. This is where all the Embedder widgets, their configurations and corresponding actions would live.

When you land on this ‘Embedder for Confluence’ tab for the first time, the list of widgets would be empty. So the next logical step is to click on ‘Add widget’ button in the top right corner.

Clicking on the ‘Add widget’ button will reveal a form for configuring the widget. Many of the fields in this form are pre-populated with default values so that you can get started quickly.

Once the form is filled with correct information & saved, it would generate code snippets for different types of widgets. Refer corresponding instructions to insert respective code snippets (Inserting Widget on a webpage) in your website/web app/mobile app.
