What is leave balance page?

Leave balance tab in leaves section is visible only for admins and users with sufficient permissions. This tab list downs leave balances of all employees for existing leave policies. Let us see how the leave balance calculation works and how to look for leave balance data for employees enrolled in different leave policies.

Filters on leave balance page

These filters help you to search for relevant data on employee’s leave balance. The flexibility of these filters allows you to gather leave balance data in many ways. Let us see all these filters one by one.

  • Select policy

  • Policy period

  • User status

  • User

  • Leaves type

Select policy

This is nothing but simply a policy selector. In the dropdown, you can see all the existing policies. Upon selection of one or more policies, leave balance of all/ selected employees is displayed.

Policy period

This filter is to select the policy period. For example few organisations follow 1st April to 31st March and few may follow 1st January tpo 31st December.

User status

This filter works based on the UpRaise user statuses i.e. active, inactive, deleted. Leave balance is displayed for all users in selected status/es.

User

If you are looking for leave balance data by user/s. Simply search for relevant users or click on search icon to select bulk users. Depending on selected users, system displays the leave balance for all policies user is and was enrolled in.

Leave type

In this filter option, one can select leave types when you want to see leave balance for selected leave types.
