Settings & customizations

There may be projects on your Jira instance, which do not need to use the features offered by Screenjar app. And there also might be a need to align the Screen recording/screenshot annotation experience with your brand guidelines.

All that is possible once your Jira admin configures the app accordingly.

Ask your Jira admin to navigate to the ‘Manage apps’ screen & find Screenjar → Configurations menu in the left navigation.

App settings

This tab lets you determine which of the Jira projects should the Screenjar app be enabled on or vice versa. The setting is defined in a way that you can make the Screenjar app on (or off) by default & then add exceptions.

Here’s what it will look like:

In the above set up, Screenjar app will be enabled for all projects except for the ‘Recruitment’ project.

Customer messaging

Messaging & labels on the Screen recording flow can be modified from this area. There are three different text areas to cover for Intro, Recording & Thank you messages. Here’s what the config looks like:
