Sync UpRaise teams with Jira groups
If you already have team-based Jira groups created within Jira, then you can sync these Jira groups with UpRaise teams. As and when users are updated in Jira groups they are being updated in UpRaise teams too.
Sync UpRaise team/s with Jira groups
Navigate to ‘Company directory' >> ‘Teams’ tab >> click on 'Add team/Edit team’
On this pop-up, add relevant team details as mentioned in https://amoeboids.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/UD/pages/2467856424/Manage+teams#Create-team
In Jira groups field, add relevant Jira groups to be synced with team.
You can select one or more Jira groups to sync with one UpRaise team
A few important points to note while using this feature
When teams are synced with Jira Groups, you cannot manage members at a team level. Meaning, you cannot edit team members manually. They are auto-updated based on your Jira group's team members.
If you want to add or remove users in/from these teams, you should edit your Jira group and that will be synced with UpRaise team.
In the list view, team those are synced with Jira groups are visually highlighted.
While editing the team, if you change already selected Jira user group/s - existing members are flushed out and users from the updated Jira group are populated as members.
On similar lines, if you want a team to be synced with any Jira group/s - all existing team members are flushed out.
Also, when an existing team (not yet synced with any Jira group/s with a few team members added manually) is being updated to sync with Jira user group/s. Then previously added users are removed & Jira group/s are populated as members and previous team members from the team that is not related to selected Jira group are removed.
