What notifications do users receive on UpRaise Slack bot?

 

Slack integration helps you receive updates from UpRaise in your Slack workspace. Here is a quick list of points where slack messages are triggered. Below list shows the information displayed in the Slack notification and a screenshot of the notification from Slack.

OKRs

Objective assigned (& shared) with you 

  • Objective level

    • Objective title

    • Description

    • Due date

KR punch in reminder

  • KR title

  • Punch in action button 

  • Last punch in date

  • Parent objective level. (logo/symbol)

 

Depending on KR type (Metric or To do), you will see a pop up when clicked on Punch in option within KR reminder notification on Slack.

This notification will have list of all KRs you need to punch in on the current day. 


Feedback

Feedback received (& shared) with to you

  • Feedback by

    • Feedback receiver

    • Tag

    • Label/s (if any)

    • Feedback message (Description)

    • JIRA Issue (if any)

You can comment on the feedback right from Slack!


Feedback that is publicly visible can be routed to a pre-defined Slack channel

Notice in above screenshot that the feedback is shared publicly is posted on Random channel and all users can react or comment on the feedback.

Leaves

When logged in user is leave approver and receives a leave request 

  • User name (applicant)

  • Type - Leave type

  • When - Leave duration

  • Duration - Number of days on leave

  • Projected balance - Projected balance of respective leave type

  • Reason - Reson to request leave/s (click on see more link to display reason)

  • action buttons to Reject/Approve leave

 

Leave request status update

When logged in user is leave applicant and their approver Approves/Rejects/Cancel leave request from Slack
