List view
Introduction
On this view all your releases from the current Jira project are visible. In Jira releases page, you can see only Version, Status, Progress, Start date, Release date & Description columns.
Whereas, in the list view of releases tab you can configure custom columns as per your requirements to additional details related to each release. Read Project-level custom fields for more details. You can also add Default & Global custom fields as columns. This gives you complete flexibility over what you want to see in the list view of your releases.
Filters
You can filter list view as required. Read Add filters for more details.
Column Configuration
Select column option allows you to configure columns for the list view. Again, here you can use all Jira default fields, and global/project level custom fields created via Release Planning and Reports app.
Select relevant custom fields from the right-side sections or remove existing ones from the main section. Here you can add Jira default release fields, custom and global fields of Release Planning & Reports app & Save.
Notice all the selected columns are added to the list view for each release.
For eg. An organisation is using JSM for customer support, in that case, support issues can be linked with issues from different Jira projects. This allows Release planning reports app’s user to make sure dev team is informing support team about relevant enhancements/bug fixes related to JSM tickets. Or it is possible that support team agents are given access to check releases. In this case, one can configure Linked issues column in list view and easily trace issues linked with support tickets/
