What are the advanced OKR settings & how do I use them?
Navigate to manage tab on OKR page from the main navigation menu of the app. Manage tab allows UpRaise admin & super admin to manage some additional settings as below: Objective levels Default visibility (of OKRs at all levels) Objective labels Key Result Configuration KR reminders Confidence status Do note that you can continue using UpRaise without making any changes to these default advanced settings. Many teams tend to have only Company & Team levels of objectives & skip the individual level altogether. Whereas others follow the more traditional approach of only individual level objectives. In UpRaise apps, UpRaise admin/super admin can configure which objective levels are relevant to their use cases. And additionally, also rename the levels based on their company culture. For example, Company level is displayed as 'Corporate' & Individual level is displayed as 'Personal' in below settings. Here is how to enable multiple levels of OKRs based on team type UpRaise admin or super admins can decide the default visibility of OKRs at all levels i.e. individual, team & company. Once UpRaise admin or super admin selects an option as default, it will be available as default selection while creating a new objective at any levels. This option helps users avoid the possibility of selecting a wrong sharing option at the time of objective creation. Creator of the objective will have the opportunity to override default selection. UpRaise allows adding labels while creating an objective. Creator of an objective can add these labels in order to further classify OKRs. Labels can be used to search OKRs from the OKRs list as one of the search criteria. These labels can be managed by admin/super admin. If you check the option allow label creation while creating/editing objective on the manage tab page, then new labels can be created by non-admins users while creating/editing objectives. If unchecked, only default labels will be available to choose from for non-admins. If x is clicked on any of the existing labels, a confirmation will appear. System checks if the label being deleted is already applied to any of the objectives - if yes, it not only deletes the label but also notifies owners of such objectives. if no, it will delete the label right away. The main purpose for letting the admin/super admin manage objective labels is to control chaos by way of avoiding duplicate labels. Now, these labels are made clickable so one can click and check the list of objectives of respective label. UpRaise admin or super admins can decide if they want users to receive reminder emails for KR punch ins/update KRs on regular intervals (only for metric and to do type KRs). If these reminders are enabled, KR owner will receive reminders on specific intervals (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly - as per selected option from KR detail page >> Reminders tab), read /wiki/spaces/UPFJ/pages/1395163251 for more details. If these reminders are disabled, reminders tab on KR detail page will not be displayed. Employee Success admin or super admins can decide if they want users to use objective confidence status. Simply clicking on the checkbox they can enable or disable the confidence status options for objective owners.
