Connecting your Open AI account
In v6.7 are introducing an AI-generated release notes feature. This document explains how to connect your Open AI account with ARN.
Connect ARN with your Open AI account
Navigate to https://platform.openai.com/api-keys while you are logged in to your Open AI account
Create new secret key with all access >> Copy it
Within your Jira administartion navigate to Manage Apps>> Automated release notes settings >> Open AI section >> Paste the Open AI secret key in API key field >> Submit
This will establish the connection. Once the connection is done, navigate to the Generator tab on the relevant ARN In-project screen.

Gnerator tab is available only on In-project screen.
You do not see Open AI feature within ARN?
By default the the AI generator tab is enabled, however, if you do not see the Gnertor tab on your in-project screen check with your Jira admin if the function is enabled for app/your project. Below are the steps to enable the Generator tab.
As a Jira admin, navigate to Jira administration ( ) >> Manage Apps >> Automated release notes settings >> App settings tab
As shown in the image below, click on icon and enable the Generator tab for all or selected Jira projects.
