Upraise lets you give feedback on objectives & KRs separately. UpRaise being a Jira add-on, tightly integrates with Jira and lets you give feedback tied to a Jira issue as well. And of course, you can give feedback related to anything else apart from OKRs & Jira issues. Anyone with access to UpRaise can give feedback by clicking on the 'give feedback' item in the main UpRaise menu.
This opens the 'give feedback' pop-up. On this pop-up, you can select the type of feedback. Let us see what all type of feedback you can give within UpRaise.
Option to provide feedback on objective and KRs is currently available only in server version.
By default system selects independent feedback option. When you want to give generic feedback that does not relate to OKRs or Jira issues you can use this option.
Select Jira issue option when your feedback is specific to any Jira issue. In next field select a relevant Jira issue on which you want to give feedback. You can search for Jira issues with basic or JQL search options.
After that define the sharing settings of the feedback, read about feedback sharing here. Select the feedback tag and add labels related to the feedback. Add your feedback in the message box and save. When you are sharing feedback on Jira issue, system auto-selects the current assignee of the Jira issue as receiver.
Select the type as objective, select the relevant objective from the list in the next field (it's dropdown list of all objectives visible to you). Objective owner is auto-selected as receiver (you can override that selection).
You can still give feedback if the selected objective is not visible to feedback receiver. She'd see the feedback message and other details In her received feedback except for the objective name as shown in the image here
Select the type as key result. Select the relevant key result from the drop-down. This list contains all KRs visible to you/the ones you own.KR owner is auto-selected as receiver (you can override that selection).
You can give feedback even if the selected KR is not visible to feedback receiver. She'd see the feedback message and other details In her received feedback except for the KR name as shown in the image here
Independent one of all above.
If there is something not related to any of the above types, you can still give feedback. Simply skip adding any data in the first two fields on the give feedback pop-up. Just handpick the user and share the feedback along with relevant sharing settings, tags, labels and the feedback message.
Once feedback is created, the creator of that feedback will have access to 'edit' it. These actions are available from the 'my feedback page, insight view and user profile >> continuous feedback tab'. Mouseover on feedback shows 'edit' option. Click on pencil icon, it opens up the pop-up same as that of 'give feedback'. Only difference being, in this case, data is pre-populated.
Once feedback is created, the creator of that feedback will have access to 'delete' it. These actions are available from 'my feedback page, insight view and user profile >> continuous feedback tab'. Mouseover on feedback & it shows 'delete' option, click on 'delete' icon, post-confirmation, the feedback is deleted from the system.
