Creating Confluence Template (New Editor)
New Confluence editor is available only in ARNR Cloud, thus this documentation is applicable only in case of ARNR app for Jira Cloud
If you are using this approach for the first time, please take a look at Checklist to publish release notes (in new Confluence editor) using ARNR Helper app
Background
There are two ways to create Confluence template for new editor -
Create Confluence page as a template
Create Confluence template using native ‘Templates’ feature
Create Confluence page as a template
Navigate to ARNR app >> Templates tab >> Click on Create >> Select Confluence (New Editor)
On the pop-up select the Confluence instance and then space and click on Create draft template.
This will direct you to a new Confluence template page that has some default ARNR macros. You can publish it as it is or edit and Publish.
If you trying this new editor approach for the first time, you can use this pre-created template as it is to run a few tests. Once you get the understanding how this approach work you can edit exiting default template to get the desired design structure by using more ARNR macros, and Confluence’s native page customisation options.
You can also create a Confluence page and start building your Confluence template from scratch that contains JQL sections and other ARNR-specific macros. Simply create a new Confluence page and add ARNR macros and design your template.
We recommend using Confluence page as template for creating Confluence template in new editor as it will gives you a better output with respect to formatting and attachments with the pages that are sourced by Jira issues fields.

One can also create Global and Local Confluence template. Read https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-a-template/ if you are using the template. Whether you create a Global/local template or page, the steps are going to be the same that are mentioned on the checklist page.
