You are navigated to the objective details page when you click on an objective title. This objective details page has almost the same content for all levels of objectives, apart from a few minor differences.




The top section of the page

Let us see all sections of objective detail page one by one. Refer the screenshot below. All examples are from the above image.       

                    

- Highlighted part in the image below tells you what is the level of this objective with a relevant icon. 

- Then April to June 2018 is the objective cycle of this objective. OBJ-768 is the objective id.

- Achieve profitability by end of the year via Monthly recurring revenue (MRR) is the title of the objective.



- This percentage (77.42%) is total progress percentage that is derived from KRs and objective alignments of this objective or from direct punch in updates.

- Lagging is the confidence status generated by the system. This status keeps changing according to progress made on Objective. 

- There are two more confidence statuses in Employee Success i.e. on track & at risk.



- Clicking on edit option gives a popup that you have seen while creating the same objective. You can make necessary changes and save it. 

- Comment option allows you to add a comment on anything related to the objective. 

- Punch In option is available only when you do not have any KR or alignment in an objective. You can click on punch-in to mark the progress manually with relevant comments and progress percentage.

- Clicking on more option gives two drop-down option to abandon, delete, move, clone (For all three levels of objectives) & conver to team/individual (only for team and individual objectives) objective.



The description is self-explanatory, these are relevant details, notes or instructions related to the objective mentioned by the creator while creating an objective.


Key results section

This section allows users to manage key results and their relevant attributes. 

- Add New option allows users to add new key results. Clicking on add new opens up a pop of KR types. You will see three or two types of KRs on this pop-up depending on KR settings made by admins. Read How to manage key result configurations?.

- Key icon states it's a Metric type key results.

- Checkbox icon states it's a ToDo type key result.

-  Jira issue/epic Icon states it's a Jira Issue type key result.

- W stands for weightage and A stands for actions, it shows number Jira issues/epics added as actions(if any). Read Jira issues/epics as KRs or Jira issues/epics as actions? 



- Highlighted progress bars in image below show the progress made on all type of key results. 

- Numbers in first key results are - original, current & target values respectively. 

- Weightage decides the impact of key result progress on the parent objective. 

- To Do and Done statuses are updated as per the progress of JIRA Issue's and Epic's progress from JIRA. Read How does the progress calculation of Jira issues and epics works?





Alignment Section

Alignment section allows users to align or link objectives with different levels of objectives to roll up the progress from other objectives

- Receives contribution from is the first type of alignment. It allows you to create an alignment to receive progress contribution from other objectives.

- Contributes to is the second type of alignment. It allows you to create an alignment with other objectives to contribute progress to objectives.

- Weightages in the alignment section will decide the impact of contributing objective on the other objective.


Attachments Section

- This section allows you to attach files with OKRs. 

- You can attach different file types like .png, .jpeg, pdf, xls, etc.


Activity Section

This section helps you to track all activities and comments of the objectives. 

- Comments tab allows you to add comments and tag different users by using at sign(@). 

- History tab shows up all the changes to the objective in its lifetime.


A few sections in the right side of the page

On the right side of the objective detail page, you will see a few small sections with different types of minute details about the objective. Let us discuss these sections one by one.


  1. At the top right corner of this page, you will see details about the level of objective and the name of person/user who is responsible for this objective.
  2. How many days till the due date is reached. 
  3. Last punch in date of the objective.
  4. Few important things like Status of objective, who all are watching this objective, Due Date of objective, labels and objective sharing. If it's shared with a few individual user/s or team/s then it gives the list those user & team name/s.
  5. Alignments
  6. Objective Progress section shows you the ideal progress and actual progress.
  7. In other details section, you can find details like this objective is created by whom, who updated it last, when it was created, and when was last updated and punched in.
  8. Objective cycle section gives details about the objective cycle of this objective. This is available only for team & individual level objectives.
